Established in 2001, Almashura Health Skills Center was founded on the idea of creating an environment locally where health care professionals could access short-focused courses/workshops –the first in the Middle East in recognition of the importance and need to provide professional development opportunities to medical professionals, nurses, technicians, and the community.  

MHSC courses are supervised by professional medical staff in the field, and offer continuous training and updating using the latest procedures conducted on simulated tissue models, cadavers, and animal labs, and include orthopedics, general surgery (endoscopy/laparoscopy), spinal surgery, cardio thoracic, anesthetics, CPR, ENT, ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynecology.
